Acerca del evento
Join Secretary of Aging, Jason Kavulich, and other state and community leaders for the statewide kickoff and presentation on the development of Pennsylvania’s 10-year Master Plan on Aging and Disabilities.
This event will take place on Thursday, May 25 at 1:30 pm at the DeNaples Center at the University of Scranton, 931 Mulberry St, Scranton, PA 18510.
Pennsylvania has a rapidly growing and diverse older adult population. Nearly one in four Pennsylvanians is age 60 and over and this segment of the population is growing 20 times faster than any other age group in the state. With this plan, our state and our governor affirm Pennsylvania’s commitment to quality, sustainable services for all older adults, and adults living with disabilities. The plan will reflect the needs and preferences of older adults to live where and how they choose and access the supports they need to continue to thrive.
This must and will be a plan for all Pennsylvanians by Pennsylvanians. We will be requesting input from anyone or any group with interaction toward aging and disability-related services, programs, and infrastructure.
